Hello...don't expect one of these every week but, especially at the start of the year, we sometimes have a lot of stuff to cover, so here goes:

1 - Thanks to everyone who managed to interpret my pathetic attempt at an email and came down to play football on Sunday. Paul, our beloved Social Sec has requested that ANYONE who wants to play football for the team should reply to this email with their name and Student Number.

Next session will be this Sunday coming up from 2-4 PM on the 3G pitch at Uni...if you don't know where that is then ask and we can meet you somewhere else beforehand.

2 - If you have already confirmed your place at the Thursday race I need your Student Number! This applies to:

Thomas Singh

The rest of you who have confirmed, I already have your Student Numbers

3 - I have had a lot of emails about Thursdays' race on the 9th October...we look like we will be able to take just over 20 people down and we currently have 21 with reserved spots...of these 15 have confirmed however...am still waiting on:

Sam Jackson
Steven Harrison
Seniz Ibrahim
Sheree Norman
Grace Murray

If I hear nothing before the end of Tuesday then any remaining places will go on offer. If you want a place at the next race (Thursday 9th October, costing 10 pounds for members and 12.50 for non-members, meeting at the Union building at 5:30pm...going till about 9:30/10:00pm) then reply to this E-Mail with your name AND Student Number. YOU MAY STILL NOT GET A PLACE IF ALL 6 OF THESE PEOPLE RESPOND BEFORE TUESDAY! The chances of that, however are pretty slim I'm sure you'll agree.

4 - That's about it for the moment...great to see so many people getting involved this year (which is our Treasurer's new favourite motto lol!) and I look forward to seeing you all at various events etc soon...please don't hesitate to get back to me with any questions or queries you may have.
