Number 13 was indeed used...but not in a World Championship F1 Race. It was used in Non-Championship Races and even in Quali, but to the best of my knowledge not in a race.

OK, the answers:
1. Which team did David Coulthard make his F1 debut for in 1994?
WILLIAMS- in the 1994 Spanish Grand Prix, replacing Ayrton Senna, no less
2. Who won the 2005 Belgian Grand Prix?
KIMI RAIKKONEN- I was there as he won the race, in the good old days whilst he was at McLaren before he went to Scumland in 2007
3. How many pit-stops did Alain Prost make on his way to 3rd place in the 1993 European Grand Prix at Donington?
SEVEN - With the weather persistently changing everyone was forced to repeatedly change tyres, though everyone else who finished did about 4 stops
4. What was Brawn GP originally called in its first incarnation?
TYRELL- Tyrell joined F1 in 1970-something, and where originally a solid race-winning team, and produced the famous 6-wheeled car in 1977, they faded into backmarkers by the 1990's, and finally handed over to BAR in 1999, who in turn were bought by Honda for 2006, and then Brawn took over in 2009 when Honda pulled out
5. Which city hosted the Australian Grand Prix from 1985 to 1995?
ADELAIDE- it also used to be the last race of the season, as opposed to Melbourne which usually hosts the first race. Given European audiences would have to get up at stupid o'clock to watch the race, it probably wasn't the best place to host the potential decisive round, as was the case several times
6. In what town is Red Bull Racing based?
MILTON KEYNES - yes, really
7. What is the name of the first corner at Monaco?
STE. DEVOTE - the tricky right hander has seen many accidents in its time
8. What number was Fernando Alonso in the 2008 season?
FIVE- probably should have been 7 following McLaren's removal from the 2007 constructors championship, but there you go
9. How many laps are there in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza?
53- as the eagle-eyed watchers of todays race would have noticed
10. What championship did Lewis Hamilton win in 2005?
F3 EUROSERIES - a.k.a. French and German F3.... he won it convincingly as well, winning 15 of the 20 races, and he had the luxury of not having to worry about the FIA trying to hand the title to anyone else

And the results, we have a tie
1. Keith = 8
=. Pip = 8
3. Jon = 6
And yes Pip, Adelaide was/is awesome!
Another question here,
What do Stirling Moss, Damon Hill and myself have in common (apart from being great English racing drivers )

Thanks Josh. Woop! Eight points for me!
But, regardless of whether Jon's answer re: car number 13 is correct, I would still like to highlight that I did submit that same answer to him before the deadline.
In an effort to keep things fresh here on the forum, perhaps I could submit some questions next...? That way Jon still gets to play.

Objection your honour! This question does not take into account that the Tyrell team was effectively split between BAR and Honda's aborted attempt at F1. Brawn are what came of the BAR team, but BAR did not assume full control of Tyrell. BAR assumed some assets and staff whilst the rest of the team and infrastructure went into Honda's new - and soon abandoned - team.
Fair play though. Good questions Josh! I look forward to writing some of my own after Keith's round! I used to do a quiz like this myself way back in the day...

Sorry to see my quiz was too hard for HUGS' master strategists. Here are the results...
1. Rubens Barrichello has just won his third Italian GP. Barring four-times winner Michael Schumacher, who was the last F1 driver to win the event three times?
Alain Prost and Nelson Piquet won it three times each during the same era, but Prost's victory came more latterly. The answer, therefore, is ALAIN PROST. Tick for Jon.
02. Who has finished the most grand prix races in 2009?
At the time of writing NICK HEIDFELD, TIMO GLOCK and NICO ROSBERG had all finished every race of the season thus far. Jon knew this but plumped solely for Glock in the end. One third of a point for him there.
03. Between 1991 and 2004 how many drivers drove for Jordan Grand Prix?
Jon attempts to list them all and comes up with 26. The answer is comprised of the following names: Alesi; Apicella; Barrichello; Baumgartner; Boutsen; Brundle; Capelli; de Cesaris; Firman; Fisichella; Frentzen; Gachot; Glock; Gugelmin; Heidfeld; Hill; Irvine; Karthikeyan; Modena; Monteiro; Moreno; Naspetti; Pantano; Sato; M. Schumacher; R. Schumacher; Suzuki; Trulli; Zanardi; Zonta. Or, in number format: 30. Bad luck.
04. Since returning to Melbourne in the 1990s which country has claimed the highest number of Australian GP victories?
Though A1GP this is not, the answer is GREAT BRITAIN. Button, Coulthard, Hamilton, Hill and Irvine have all won there. Congratulations, have a point, Jon.
05. Which driver helped to establish the then future Honda Team in 1999?
This one caused Jon some confusion. He put forward Jacques Villeneuve as his answer. He raced for BAR in that year and BAR did, some years later, become the Honda team. Importantly, however, Honda was at that time trying to establish its own works team using F1 driver JOS VERSTAPPEN. The BAR team was not the then future Honda team, as far as BAR knew. I understand your thinking, but no points here, sorry.
06. How many nations have fielded just one F1 driver in 2009?
Again there seemed to be some confusion here. In 2009 only Australia (Webber), Japan (at the time of writing, with Nakajima), Poland (Kubica) and Switzerland (Buemi) had just one F1 driver. The answer, therefore, is FOUR (not 11, and not including Thailand or the Czech Republic!).
07. A tricky one now. What are the next three names in this sequence of names from the 1990s?
R BARRICHELLO, M SCHUMACHER, D HILL, E IRVINE, J ALESI, J VERSTAPPEN, D COULTHARD , ... , ... , ... .
No answer was submitted here. Jon thought it might have something to do with partnering world champions, but it was more evil than that: M HAKKINEN, H-H FRENTZEN and P MARTINI completed the top ten grid for the 1994 Belgian Grand Prix.
08. What is the combined total number of F1 races undertaken by everyone's favourite test drivers Pedro de la Rosa, Luca Badoer, Marc Gene and Alex Wurz since the start of 1999?
Jon guessed 36 for Marc Gene, 51 for Alex Wurz and 71 for Pedro de la Rosa. He forgot to count Luca Badoer. His total was 158 races. The actual answer was 235. Wurz has 69, Badoer 58, de la Rosa 72 (very close there) and Gene, just like you estimated, 36.
09. Nico Rosberg won the first ever GP2 title. Who preceded him as the final F3000 champion?
VITANTONIO LIUZZI. Well done.
10. Who has the most F1 race wins of all drivers on the grid in 2009?
Jon said Fernando Alonso. Our survey said... ALONSO! 21 race wins for the double world champion.
Jon wins all the points.
Next!
